(WIMS) has launched another FREE e-Service to serve the environmental community in Michigan and internationally.  The action is part of a systematic plan to further develop and expand the services provided by the WIMS full-service environmental information portal -- www.ecobizport.com -- launched earlier this year on Earth Day.

WIMS launched www.EcoBizPort.com on April 20, 2001.  The website is designed to be a comprehensive, homepage linking businesses, professionals and individuals to the vast array of environmental information on the Internet.  The site is open to the public at large and is supported by WIMS and corporate advertising and sponsorships.  At this time, the site provides
both a National and Michigan-specific homepage.  Other individual state homepages are planned to be added in the future.

On May 29, 2001, EcoBizPort.com announced another new, free e-Service -- Final Rule Notifier (FRN).    FRN provides registered users immediate Email notification when a nationally applicable Final Rule of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is published in the Federal Register.  Interested parties can register for FRN at:
