REGULATORY
RELIEF
FOR
BUSY ASSOCIATION SERVICES Jump-Start Your Membership Program Every business morning we deliver the Daily REGTrak Bulletin to your Association Manager by about 7:00 AM. Your Association Manager is then free to redistribute the Bulletin to all Association Members that have requested to receive the Bulletin. We charge the Association a small annual fee for the daily content we provide and require a few restrictions on redistribution, reselling and the inclusion of a standard content notice (see details below). Or, association members may contact us and receive the daily bulletin directly from us. Do I Need Federal Register Notices?
It's hard to imagine one document that is
more important than the Federal Register if you're an EMS manager,
consultant, attorney or environmental professional.
Each day the Federal Register contains
critical information on proposed and final regulations;
comment period deadlines; documents and meetings; funding
opportunities; legal settlements; and more.
If
you're serious about environmental management, you have to know what's
in the Federal Register.
And, equally important, on some days there will be nothing of interest
to you -- you need to know that too!
There are several ways you can
find out what's in the Federal Register: (1) there are a number of pricey
newsletters that will attempt to interpret what they think is in the Federal
Register; (2) You can buy a hardcopy subscription to the Federal Register
($860.00/year,
(click
here);
You can subscribe to the U.S. EPA listserve and receive daily Email
announcements; (3) You can check the GPO or EPA Internet sites daily and review
announcements on-line; or (4) You can
receive REGTrak and make your life a whole lot easier.
No matter what alternative method you may
try... There is simply no faster way to determine what's in the
daily Federal Register that you need to know than by reviewing
the Daily REGTrak Bulletin.
It's all about TIME, MONEY & RELIABILITY! REGTrak (complete report) summarizes all of the nationally applicable environmental announcements from U.S. EPA and other agencies; gives you all the information you need to quickly assess the importance of each announcement; and provides the active links to the full-text if you need more.
Each day, by about 7:00 AM, we deliver to our
clients an easy to digest, quick summary, that allows users to determine
within 30 seconds, whether there is anything in the day's Federal
Register that they need to be concerned with. Immediately, they can
react -- obtain additional information; refer it to the proper persons;
or do a quick note to self about follow-up later.
REGTrak is designed to save you time and allow you to obtain the information you need by the fastest possible means. You receive your Daily REGTrak Bulletin usually around 7:00 AM ET every working day. Unless you spend the same amount of time as we do every morning reviewing and summarizing the daily Federal Register, you cannot get the information any faster. Because of our issue index and unique coding systems you can immediately, within seconds, determine if there are announcements that you deem to be critical or timely. There is no other government or private Federal Register tracking service that can make this claim. Our Daily REGTrak Bulletin is contained in one single, reasonably sized, Email message. The document will open in seconds and immediately allow you to review the entire daily index. You will not have to waste your time downloading, opening, reviewing and assessing many individual messages to find the ones you really need -- That's what you have to do with EPA's "free" listserv service. Also, REGTrak focuses on the "nationally applicable" Federal Register announcements. So you don't have to waste your time downloading, opening and reviewing messages that only apply to a particular state, municipality, or facility -- again, that's what you have to do with EPA's "free" listserv service. This aspect of REGTrak can save substantial amounts of time considering that approximately half of the daily Federal Register announcements are location or site specific. If you subscribe to U.S. EPA's listserve, you receive many lengthy, full-text messages daily that must be downloaded and opened -- half of which are site/location specific. Considering that a hardcopy subscription to the Federal Register is $764 per year Association Members can obviously save money by receiving the REGTrak Bulletin from their Association. But, much more important is the enormous time savings that REGTrak offers, which immediately makes it far cheaper than any of the so-called "free" services available from the U.S. EPA listserv or direct Internet access. Whether you use the "free" services or subscribe to the hardcopy, we estimate that the average technician or administrative personnel will spend at least $7,500 per year accessing, sorting, assessing and reviewing Federal Register announcements just getting them ready for top level executive review. REGTrak can eliminate 80-90 percent of this cost. Thus, at a minimum this service will save you several thousands of dollars per year over any other method of tracking the Federal Register. REGTrak

For each announcement you receive:
PLUS... You get a Daily index of all announcements right up front which you can quickly scan to determine which announcements are most important to you. To make it even easier, the title information for each announcement is double coded so at a glance you can determine...
*National Associations may also participate; however, some details may be different depending on the nature of the association. ** Sponsor Ad. While the $1,200 annual fee is very reasonable, Associations may want to consider having a member(s) sponsor the service and in return include their banner ad as a header in each issue for a year or portion of a year.
